  • Gabriele Girelli (/ɡabrjele dʒiˈrɛlli/),
    but you can call me GG! (/ˈdʒidʒi/, like Kiki's cat 🐱)
  • From northern Italy (  Verona ), based in Sweden (  Stockholm ).
  • An eclectic, INFJ person, passionate about books (fantasy, sci-fi, horror), art (photography and sketching), cinematography, horror movies, mangas, anime, video- and board games, and more.
  • A computational biologist.

I have:

  • Concluded my Ph.D. studies at the Bienko Lab for the Quantitative Biology of the Nucleus, Karolinska Institutet, in May 2021.
  • Worked as Sr. Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics in Stockholm, since 2022.

Filopoe.it was born from the Albergo Filopoetica public forum (do NOT go there!!! Photobucket broke the poor old thing down… 😱). Now this is more of a private blog, although I am planning to host some friends and contacts if I get the chance. Also, the filopoe.it domain is officially “dead” (R.I.P.) as it only redirects to ggirelli.info.
