May 17th - second day in Berlin.

We woke up late today 😄 took the chance to recharge after all the traveling so far! 😴

Then, we met with a colleague and had breakfast at Cafe Bravo, inside the Insitute for Contemporary Art, located in a very nice neighbourhood!

For lunch, we met up with a friend and went to SmartDeli (highly recommended!) for a very yummy and light Japanese lunch 🍣 after which we went for a quick visit at the Berlin Institute for Medical System Biology (a.k.a., BIMSB).

After that, we decided to enjoy the sunny afternoon by taking a walk up Bernauer Str., aiming for a typical currywurst (see cover picture) at Konnopke (I was looking forward to this so much 😋).

After the light snack (with the never missing radler) we continue with a nice walk through Mauerpark, aiming for Volkspark Humboldthain with its rose garden and walk up to the Flakturm, where we enjoyed a nice aerial view of the city.

We wrapped up the afternoon by meeting with a friend for a quick coffee at one of the many Einstein cafes, and ended the day with a light sushi dinner (so much Japanese food today!) before going back to the hotel for the night 🛏️
