May 19th - one day in Vienna.

We woke up late. (again! 😅)

Had a walk downtown and found a nice spot to get a hot cup of matcha tea to warm us up! Then, we continued through some of the parks until we reached the Stattsopera (see cover pic).

After some more random strolling, we joined with a friend for lunch at the Gasthaus Reinthaler. We enjoyed the Albertina balcony and the Opernpassagen. Then, wen to the Donauinsel and Alte Donau to enjoy the nice weather, before a quick coffee break (at a MacDonald 🙈).

By then, we were quite tired and headed back home for a short rest. Dinner was at the Hao Noodle & Tea reasturant (highly recommended!) before going for drinks at Kruger’s! (so fancy)

We walked around downtown a bit more to see the Stattsopera being lit up for the night (hence the cover picture) and were lucky enough to catch a short austrian cinema shooting at the Albertina balcony. We even found a lost phone and, surprisingly, managed to return it to its owner! 💪

After a short walk around the cathedral downtown, we decided to go home for a few hours of sleep (early train tomorrow!) 😴
